"Easter traditions on the border"

"Easter traditions on the border" - is the name of a task carried out in the framework of the Polish-Slovak microproject  "Education without borders in L'ubotin and Muszyna".
On March 26th our school hosted 20 students from the partner school for Easter meeting. Guests were welcomed by the headteacher Andrzej Gancarz, who introduced the audience the program of the microproject "Education without borders in L'ubotin and Muszyna".
After that the fifth grade students presented and showed different Easter traditions in Poland in their performance. Subsequently, workshops were held on that topic during which the co-ed teams of Polish-Slovak children used a variety of  techniques making Easter decorations and symbols: Easter cards, gift bags, Easter eggs and Easter bunnies.
The last item on the agenda was the tasting Polish Easter dishes, such as sour soup with eggs, pork with plums and poppy seed. Nice atmosphere, Polish Easter traditions and integration of children and teachers of the two schools are the main objectives of the partnership that have been introduced at the first meeting of the project.
